Folding the rear seat forward (7-seater models only) (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Warning: Do not place luggage or other cargo above the level of the front seats.


Do not allow passengers to sit in the rear compartment with the rear seats folded down. Unsecured luggage or passengers sitting in the rear compartment could be thrown from their seats or from the vehicle in a sudden stop or collision.

To get passengers into or out of the third row seats, follow these steps:.

1. Make sure all three seat belts are loose and the front seatbacks are not reclined.

2. Insert the headrests until they stop.

3. Pull the lever on the outside of the seatback forward and fold the seatback.
