Warning: Do not place luggage or other cargo above the level of the front seats.
Do not allow passengers to sit in the rear compartment with the rear seats folded down. Unsecured luggage or passengers sitting in the rear compartment could be thrown from their seats or from the vehicle in a sudden stop or collision.
Folding the rear seat with the seat belts fastened may cause damage to the seat or seat belts.
Before folding the rear seat, be sure to unfasten the seat belts and return them to their normal, original position.
When folding or unfolding, make sure that the seat belts are not caught in the seat. This could result in serious injury or death.

To get passengers into or out of the third row seats, follow these steps:.
1. Make sure all three seat belts are loose and the front seatbacks are not reclined.
2. Insert the headrests until they stop.
3. Pull the lever on the outside of the seatback forward and fold the seatback.

4. The seat folds forward automatically. In the folded position, it is held by gas-filled struts.
To return the rear seat to its original position:
1. Hook the seat belts into the holder to avoid them getting caught.
2. Lower the rear seat cushion.
3. Fasten the rear seat cushion to the floor.
Make sure the rear seat cushion is securely latched by pulling it up and down.
4. Return the rear seatback to its original position. Make sure the rear seatback is securely locked by pulling it forward and backward.
5. Remove the seat belts from the holder.
Warning: Do not place your feet or other body parts on the floor under the rear seat cushion when lowering it. Serious injury may result.

Caution: Do not pull the lever while the seat is in the folded position. This operation may cause damage to the lever or related parts.
