Warning: Do not place luggage or other cargo above the level of the front seats. Do not allow passengers to sit on the folded backrests while the vehicle is in motion.
The car has special places for carrying luggage and passengers. Loose luggage or passengers sitting on folded backs can be thrown out of their seats or out of the vehicle in the event of a sudden stop or collision. This could result in serious injury or death.

4. Fold the rear seatback forward and down.
To return the rear seatback to its original position:
1. Hook the seat belts into the holder to avoid pinching them.
2. Raise the rear seatback and return to its original position.
3. Remove the seat belts from the holder.
4. Lock the backrest in place by pressing on the top of the backrest.
5. Pull the backrest forward to check if it is secure.
Warning: Before riding with rear seat passengers, make sure the rear seatbacks are fully folded back and locked.
While the vehicle is moving, do not pull the levers at the top of the seatback. Pulling these release levers while the vehicle is moving can cause injury.
