Position
Warning: Only drive with a properly adjusted head restraint. Removing or improperly adjusting head restraints can result in serious head and neck injuries in the event of a collision. Make sure the head restraints are adjusted before driving.

The center of the headrest should be at eye level. If this is not possible, then for very tall people, the highest position should be set, and for short people, the headrest should be lowered to the lowest position.
Height adjustment

Pull the head restraints to adjust their position by lifting them. Pull the head restraints down by pressing the lock release buttons to adjust their position by lowering them.
Adjusting the horizontal position

To tilt the front seat headrests:
1. Set to vertical position, move forward until stop and release.
2. Carefully move the headrest forward until it is in the desired position.
Active head restraints
In the event of a rear impact, the active head restraints of the front seats automatically tilt forward. The head is supported more effectively by the head restraint, which reduces the risk of injury due to overstretching of the cervical vertebrae.
