Removal the headlight beam direction and instrument and control illumination brightness regulator unit (Chevrolet Lacetti J200)

We are carrying out work to replace the backlight lamp of the brightness controller and to replace the controllers themselves.

Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the cover on the left end of the instrument panel (see Replacing fuses and relays).



Using your fingers, push out the control unit through the hole in the instrument panel.



By pressing the clamps of the pads, we disconnect the wire pads from the regulators.



Turn the screwdriver counterclockwise





and remove the backlight lamp for the instrument and control backlight brightness regulator.

We install the new lamp in the reverse order.

To remove the instrument and control backlight brightness regulator



using a screwdriver, pry up the regulator retainer on one side and on the other side.



We remove the regulator from the block lining.



We remove the headlight beam direction adjuster in the same way.

We install the regulators in the reverse order.
