Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the rear part of the floor tunnel trim (see Removal the rear section of the floor tunnel trim).
Remove the front part of the floor tunnel trim (see Removal the front section of the floor tunnel lining).
Using scissors, cut the carpet crossbar.
Using a 10 mm socket head, unscrew the three control unit mounting bolts.
We remove the control unit
turn the wiring harness connector lock down
and disconnect the wiring harness from the airbag control unit.
We install the airbag control unit in the reverse order.
Having connected the wiring harness block to the control unit
turn the shoe lock upward.
We connect the cut carpet crossbar using a stapler.
