Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery.

Remove the protective cap covering the brush lever mounting nut.

Using a 12 mm spanner, unscrew the brush lever mounting nut.

We remove the lever with the wiper brush from the shaft.
Remove the trim of the luggage compartment door (see Removal the trunk lid trim).

By pressing the block lock, we disconnect the block of wires from the gear motor.

Using a 10 mm spanner, unscrew the three bolts securing the wiper.

We remove the windshield wiper from the luggage compartment door.

We remove three special bolts that secure the cleaner from the rubber cushions.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four screws.

We remove the gearmotor cover.

We remove the leash.

We pry it up with a screwdriver and remove the retaining ring.

We remove the gear reducer.
If necessary, clean the contacts and lubricate the gear and worm of the cleaner.
We assemble and install the luggage compartment glass cleaner in the reverse order.
To set the motor-reducer shaft to its original position, connect the wiring block to the motor-reducer. Having put the wire terminal on the negative terminal of the battery, turn on the motor-reducer with the steering column switch, then turn it off and wait for the motor-reducer shaft to stop. In this position, set the brush lever.
