If the car is not equipped with a central locking mechanism, it is supplied with two identical keys 1. If the car is equipped with a central locking mechanism, it is supplied with a key 2 with a remote control for the central locking mechanism and a regular key 1.

Set of car keys: 1 - standard key; 2 - key for a car equipped with a central lock; 3 - metal plate with the serial number of the set of keys
Each set of keys for a specific vehicle comes with a metal plate with the serial number of the key pair stamped on it, which can be used to make a new set in the event of loss of the keys.
It is recommended to store one of the keys as a spare, together with the plate, separately in a safe place outside the car.
The key with remote control has a battery (inside). If the battery is discharged, it is impossible to control the central lock remotely from the key. To restore this function, the battery must be replaced. But if it is discharged, you can use this key just like a normal one.

To lock the driver's door, insert the key into the keyhole and turn it 1/8 of a turn clockwise.
To unlock the driver's door, turn the key 1/8 turn counterclockwise.

For locking the trunk lid (sedan) and the tailgate (hatchback, station wagon) turn the key 1/8 turn counterclockwise (to unlock - vice versa) If the car is equipped with a central lock, then when you unlock the driver's door with the key, the locks of all doors will be unlocked, as well as the lock of the trunk door (hatchback, station wagon). If you use the key to unlock only the trunk door of such a vehicle, the passenger doors will remain locked.
To open the tailgate, unlock the door and pull up on the handle located under the edge of the door panel above the license plate - the door will open. To close, lower the door and slam it with some force. Do not close the door holding the key, it may break.
To open the trunk lid (sedan), unlock it - it will open. To close, slam the lid with some force.
The remote control for the central lock, built into the key, operates from a distance of about 6 m. The buttons located on the remote control perform the following functions.

Key for a car equipped with a central lock with remote control: 1 - central lock lock button; 2 - central lock release button; 3 — LED; 4 - button to turn on the alarm signal - flashing turn signals (hatchback)
On cars with sedan and station wagon bodies, button 4 can perform other functions.
LED 3 on the key remote control flashes red when any button is pressed. This indicates that the battery is sufficiently charged. If the car is not equipped with a central locking function, turning the key in the door keyhole will unlock only that specific door.
From the inside, the car doors can be locked by pressing the button located on the top of the door trim panel all the way down. To unlock, pull the button up. If the car is not equipped with a central locking function, pulling the driver's door button will only unlock that specific door.

Door(s) lock button in extended position
Next to the lock button on the driver's door there is an LED that flashes red if, when the ignition key is turned to the START position, the immobilizer system does not recognize the electronic key code and the engine does not start.
The lock of any of the passenger doors can be locked if the other doors are open. To do this, push the lock button down and slam the door. This does not apply to the driver's door - it can only be locked with the key from the outside.
On a vehicle with central locking, pulling the driver's door lock button will unlock all vehicle doors, including the tailgate (hatchback, station wagon).
On cars with a sedan body, an additional button for locking/unlocking the central lock can be installed on the driver's door trim panel. Also, on sedans, a button for unlocking the trunk with an electric drive can be installed.

Internal door opening handle
The interior handle can only open that specific door. If the car doors are locked with the central lock, they cannot be opened with the interior handles.
The rear doors of all vehicle modifications are equipped with a locking system, which can be used when driving with children or in other cases where a conventional lock cannot provide sufficient protection against unwanted opening of the doors from inside the vehicle.

Lever for locking the inner handle of the rear door
With the lock enabled (see the pictogram on the door next to the lever) this door can only be opened from outside the car. To unlock the hood, pull the handle towards you until you hear a click.

Location of the hood release handle
To open the hood, lift it by the front edge with one hand and press the safety hook lever, located on the inside of the front part of the hood approximately in the middle, with the other (above the Chevrolet emblem on the radiator grille).

To close the hood, simply lower it to a height of approximately 200-300 mm and slam it. It is not recommended to close the hood by pressing on its outer panel - this can damage it.
When closing (slamming shut) the hood release handle will return to its original position automatically.
