- Remove or secure all vehicle contents to prevent any shifting or movement that may occur during the vehicle lifting or jacking procedure.
- The rated lifting capacity of the lifting or jacking equipment must be equal to or greater than the weight of the vehicle and all vehicle contents.
- Lifting or jacking equipment must comply with the performance standards of the manufacturer of such equipment.
- Perform vehicle lifting or jacking procedures on a clean, hard, dry and level surface.
- Perform vehicle lifting or jacking procedures only at designated lifting points. DO NOT allow lifting or jacking equipment to come into contact with any vehicle contents.
Failure to follow these steps may result in damage to the lifting or jacking equipment, the vehicle and/or the contents of the vehicle.
