Disconnect the electric drive rod from the luggage compartment door lock lever (see Removal the tailgate lock).
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the electric drive.
We remove the electric drive from the door cavity and disconnect the wiring block from it.
After turning the lock, we remove the rod.
