Removal the tailgate lock (Chevrolet Lacetti J200)

By turning the lock, we disconnect the electric drive rod of the lock from the lever of the lock mechanism. Similarly, we disconnect the rod of the lock cylinder.



By turning the lock, we disconnect the rod of the outer handle of the lock.



Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the lock.





If you have difficulty unscrewing it, you can use an impact screwdriver.



We remove the lock from the door cavity..



…and we disconnect the wire blocks of the lock limit switch.

We remove the lock.



Type of lock with actuators: 1 — lock; 2 - outer handle; 3 - cylinder mechanism; 4 — electric locking mechanism.

We install the lock in the reverse order.
