The work is shown on the left headlight, the right headlight is removed in the same way.
Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery.
To remove the headlight on cars with sedan and station wagon bodies…
…using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the two bolts of the upper headlight mount.
Using the same tool, unscrew the nut of the lower headlight mount.
Moving the headlight forward..
…disconnect the wire blocks from the headlight connector and the turn signal lamp socket… …and remove the headlight.
We install the headlight in the reverse order.
To remove the headlight on a hatchback vehicle, you need to remove the radiator grille (see Removal the radiator grille).
Using a 10 mm socket head, unscrew the three headlight mounting bolts.
We move the headlight unit forward and, pressing the lock, disconnect the wiring block from the headlight unit connector.
By pressing the lock, we disconnect the wiring block from the turn signal lamp socket... ...and remove the headlight.
We install the headlight in the reverse order.
After installing the headlight, adjust the direction of the headlight beam (see Adjusting the direction of the headlight beams).
