Replacing the bulbs in the headlight (Chevrolet Lacetti J200)

For replacement of low beam lamps for cars with sedan and station wagon bodies and headlight lamps for cars with hatchback bodies, see. Replacement of outdoor lighting lamps.

The work on replacing the lamps is shown on the left headlight; on the right headlight, the operations for replacing the lamps are performed in a similar way.

Burnt-out bulbs can only be replaced by removing the headlight assembly from the vehicle.

Headlight unit for cars with sedan and station wagon bodies: To replace the parking light bulb…



…turn counterclockwise and remove the protective cover of the low beam and side light lamps.



We remove the socket with the lamp from the headlight housing.

We take the lamp out of the socket. We install the new W5W lamp in the reverse order.



To replace the turn signal bulb…



…turn the lamp holder counterclockwise and remove it from the headlight housing.



Pressing on the lamp, we turn it counterclockwise until it stops and remove the lamp from the socket.



The turn signal lamp has two protrusions offset from the central plane.

We install the new PY21W lamp in the reverse order.



To replace the high beam bulb…



…turn counterclockwise and remove the protective cover of the high beam lamp.



Disconnect the wiring harness from the high beam lamp.



By pressing down on the spring lock, we disengage it from the hook and move it to the side.



We remove the lamp from the headlight housing.

The high beam lamp is halogen. Do not touch its glass bulb with your fingers, as traces from them will cause the lamp to darken when heated and the glow to deteriorate.

You can remove dirt from the flask with a clean cloth soaked in alcohol.

We install the new high beam lamp H1 in the reverse order.

Headlight unit of a hatchback car: To replace the parking light bulb, turn it counterclockwise and remove the protective cover of the headlight.



We remove the socket with the lamp from the headlight housing.



We take the lamp out of the socket.

We install the new W5W lamp in the reverse order.

To replace the turn signal bulb…



…turn the lamp holder counterclockwise and remove it from the headlight housing.





Pressing on the lamp, we turn it counterclockwise until it stops and remove the lamp from the socket.

We install the new PY21W lamp in the reverse order.
