We remove the fan to replace its electric motor or impeller, as well as when dismantling the radiator of the cooling system.
Disconnect the wire terminal from the "negative" terminal of the battery.
Disconnect the engine control wiring harness connector from the fan motor wiring harness connector.
With a "10" head, we unscrew the two bolts of the lower fastening of the electric fan casing to the radiator...... and two bolts of the upper fastening.
We take out the electric fan with a casing.
With an "8" spanner, unscrew the nut that secures the impeller to the fan motor shaft...... and remove the impeller.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the electric motor to the casing.
Sliding the wiring harness block, remove it from the holder on the fan shroud.
We take out the wiring harness of the electric motor from the holders on the casing...... and take the electric motor out of the casing.
We assemble and install the radiator fan of the cooling system in reverse order.
During installation, we control that the flat on the motor shaft coincides...... with the protrusion in the impeller hub.
