Removal the radiator (Chevrolet Lacetti J200)

We remove the radiator to check it for leaks (if a leak is suspected) or replacement if damaged.

The radiator can be removed together with the fan, or by first dismantling it. We show how to remove the radiator together with the fan.

Drain the coolant (see Replacing the coolant). Remove the radiator grille (see Removal the radiator grille). Remove the headlights (see Removal the headlight).

We remove the steam outlet hose from the radiator pipe.

Install the radiator of the cooling system in the reverse order. Before installing the radiator, insert the cushions into the holes of the lower cross member of the radiator frame. If the cushions are torn or have lost their elasticity, they should be replaced with new ones. Fill the cooling system with coolant and bring the liquid level in the tank to the norm (see Replacing the coolant).
