Main malfunctions of the gasoline vapor recovery system (Chevrolet Niva 1)

Unstable idle speed, engine stalling, increased toxicity, and deterioration of the vehicle's driving performance may be caused by the following reasons:

• damage to the adsorber;
• purge solenoid valve malfunction;
• adsorber overflow;
• damage or improper hose connections;
• clogging of valves and hoses.

Inspect the hoses and the canister. If there are cracks or damage to the housing, replace the canister.

If there is a fuel leak, check the hose connections for leaks.

Check the correct installation of the solenoid valve and the connection of the vacuum supply hoses.
