The fuel system is part of the electronic engine management system, which is described in detail in a separate Manual for repair and maintenance of the engine management system with distributed fuel injection, so this section only describes the removal, installation of the fuel tank and replacement of the air filter element.
The air filter is installed in the front left part of the engine compartment on three rubber supports 10 (see figure 2-6).
Outside air is sucked into the air filter housing 9 through the intake. Then the air passes through the paper filter element located in the air filter housing, the mass air flow sensor 8, the hoses 1 and 3 of the intake pipe and the throttle branch pipe 5. From the throttle branch pipe, the heated air is directed into the channels of the receiver 6 and the intake pipe, then into the cylinder head and into the cylinders.
