We remove the sensor with the ignition off.

We move the engine management system wiring harness block from the plastic holder attached to the bracket.

By pressing the lock of the engine management system wiring harness block, we disconnect the sensor wiring harness block from it.
Remove the heat shield of the exhaust manifold (see Removal the catalytic converter).

Using a 22 mm open-end wrench, unscrew the oxygen concentration control sensor (a standard open-end wrench cannot be used due to the small gap between the sensor hexagon and the manifold flange).
If the open-end wrench fails to unscrew the sensor..

…we unscrew it using a 22 mm tubular wrench.

We take out the control oxygen concentration sensor.
We install the oxygen concentration sensor in the reverse order. To prevent the sensor from "sticking" to the manifold during vehicle operation, before installing the sensor, we apply a thin layer of anti-seize high-temperature additive based on graphite to its threaded part.
