Removal the windshield washer pump and reservoir (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

We carry out the work in case of pump failure and damage (leaks) windshield washer reservoir.

Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery.

Remove the left front wheel liner (see Removal mudguards and front wheel arch liners).

By pressing the connector lock, we disconnect the wiring connector from the washer pump.


By pressing the connector lock, we disconnect the wiring connector from the washer pump.

Place a container under the pump to collect the liquid (tank capacity 3 l)…

…and remove the hose supplying liquid to the injectors from the pump branch pipe.

We drain the liquid from the washer reservoir.

Using a screwdriver, we move the pump..

…and remove it from the tank.


…and remove it from the tank.

We remove the rubber sealing sleeve from the tank hole.


We remove the rubber sealing sleeve from the tank hole.

We replace a torn or lost elastic bushing with a new one.

We install the washer pump in the reverse order.

To remove the tank…

Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the three nuts securing the tank.


Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the three nuts securing the tank.

Remove the washer reservoir.


Remove the washer reservoir.

We install the washer reservoir in the reverse order.
