Contact group and cylinder mechanism of the switch (castle) we replace the ignition when they fail.
Disconnect the wire terminal from the "negative" terminal of the battery.
Remove the upper and lower steering column covers (see Removing the Paddles, Coiled Cable Drum and Switch Connector).
By pressing the block lock, we disconnect the block of wires from the contact group of the ignition switch.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw securing the contact group (for clarity shown on the removed steering column).
We remove the contact group of the ignition switch.
Install the contact group in reverse order.
To replace the cylinder mechanism of the lock, insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the "ACC" position.
Press the lock with a screwdriver (for clarity shown on the removed steering column) …
... and remove the cylinder mechanism from the ignition switch housing.
We install the cylinder mechanism of the lock in the reverse order.
