Positions of the light switch handle on the left steering column switch: 1 - external lighting is off; 2 — included: side lights, license plate lights, instrument cluster and control lights; 3 — on: side lights, license plate lights, instrument cluster and control lights, headlights on (low or high beam, depending on the position of the headlight switch)

The left combination steering column switch contains:
  • outdoor lighting switch;
  • headlight switch;
  • fog light switch;
  • turn signal switch; To turn on or off the exterior lighting, regardless of the position of the key in the ignition switch, turn the handle located at the end of the left steering column switch.

When the outside lights are on and the driver's door is open (with the ignition key in the "LOCK" or "ACC" position), a warning chime sounds to remind you to turn off the lights.

To briefly turn on the high beam headlights, regardless of the position of the light switch handle and the key in the ignition switch, move the steering column switch lever toward you. When released, the lever will return to its original position.

To permanently turn on the high beam headlights, turn the handle of the central light switch to position "3" (see above) and push the lever away from you.

When the high beam headlights are switched on, the corresponding indicator lights up blue in the instrument cluster.

To switch from high beam to low beam, move the lever towards you. To turn on the fog lights, turn on the side light by setting the handle "A" on the end of the switch to position "2" or "3", and turn the handle "B" to the "ON" position. When the fog lights are turned on, the corresponding indicator lights up in the instrument cluster.

The direction indicators are activated by moving the left combination stalk up or down to the stop (with ignition on). In the upper position of the lever, the right turn signal is on; in the lower position, the left turn signal is on.

When the steering wheel is returned to the neutral position, the steering column switch automatically returns to its original position and the turn signals turn off. To briefly turn on the turn signals, move the lever up or down until they turn on. After releasing, the lever automatically returns to the neutral position.

The right steering column switch controls the operation of the windshield wiper and washer.

The wiper and washer operate when the ignition is on. To turn on the windshield wiper, move the right steering column switch to one of the upper positions.

Windshield wiper operating modes from bottom to top:
  • OFF — the cleaner is turned off (starting position);
  • INT — intermittent operation mode of the cleaner, with a 4-second pause between working cycles;
  • LO - continuous operation of the cleaner at low speed;
  • HI - continuous operation mode of the cleaner at high speed.

To turn on the cleaner briefly, lightly press the lever towards the "INT" position and release it. The cleaner will perform one working cycle.

To turn on the windshield washer, move the right steering column switch towards you and hold it. When you turn on the windshield washer, the wiper blades will perform four cycles simultaneously with the supply of liquid.

When operating the car in winter, the wiper blades may freeze to the glass while parked. Turning on the wiper at this time may cause its electric motor to fail. Before turning on the wiper, free the frozen blades from the glass.
