Removal the coolant temperature gauge sensor (Chevrolet Lanos T150)

            0

We remove the sensor for replacement if any abnormalities are detected in the readings of the coolant temperature gauge in the instrument cluster.

Since the coolant temperature gauge sensor is located at the top of the engine, you can do without completely draining the coolant.

Drain a small amount of coolant through the radiator cap (see Replacing the coolant).

By sliding, we disconnect the wire tip from the sensor.

We install the coolant temperature indicator sensor in the reverse order.

The sensor tightening torque is 20 Nm.
