If there is coolant in the expansion tank, pump it out using a rubber bulb with a hose.

Using pliers, squeeze the clamp securing the hose that drains liquid from the throttle heating unit and slide the clamp down the hose.

We remove the hose from the expansion tank branch pipe.

We remove the radiator steam outlet hose in the same way…

…and the expansion tank filler hose.
We recommend plugging the filler hose after removal to avoid coolant leakage.

Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the two nuts securing the tank to the body bracket…

…and remove the expansion tank.
We install the tank in the reverse order.

When installing the tank, the lower bracket for fastening its body must engage with the holder attached to the body.
Fill the tank with coolant and bring its level to the norm (see Replacing the coolant).
