
1. Use a syringe or rubber bulb to pump out the liquid from the expansion tank.

2. Loosen the clamp securing the steam outlet hose by squeezing its bent ears with pliers, slide the clamp along the hose...

3. ...and remove the hose from the expansion tank fitting.

4. Similarly, remove the hose supplying liquid to the radiator of the cooling system from the expansion tank fitting.

5. Pry off the power steering hose holder...

6. ...and disconnect the hose from the expansion tank.

7. Unscrew the two expansion tank mounting bolts...

8. ...and remove the tank.

9. Install the expansion tank in the reverse order of removal.
10. Fill with coolant (see "Replacing the coolant").
