Removal and installation the glove box (Chevrolet Lumina 1)

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery (see note at the beginning of this chapter).

2. Remove the soundproofing panel from the passenger side (see section 25).

3. To remove the glove box, open it completely and release the lid stoppers by carefully pulling them up and out.

4. Remove the lower left bolt, which was previously hidden behind the soundproofing panel.

5. Loosen and remove the top screws, including the rubber plugs (see illustration).



6. Disconnect the glove box light and switch connectors and remove the glove box.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
