Before starting work, it is necessary to discharge the air conditioning system. The air conditioning system must be discharged or charged with refrigerant at specialized air conditioning service centers.
Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery.
Remove the accessory drive belt (see Replacement of auxiliary drive belt).
Using a 14 mm socket head, unscrew the nut
and disconnect the tube and hose from the compressor.
Remove the sealing washer from the hose tip.
We remove the sealing washer of the tube from the compressor hole.
Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the compressor electromagnetic clutch connector.
Using a 12 mm socket head, unscrew the four compressor mounting bolts
and remove the compressor.
We install the compressor in the reverse order. In this case, we replace the sealing washers of the tube and hose with new ones.
We charge the air conditioning system at a specialized station.
