Caution! Before removing the compressor, depressurize the air conditioning system at a car service center.
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Disconnect the wires from the compressor and unscrew the flange bolt from the rear of the compressor (see photo).
3. Remove the drive belt.
4. Unscrew the bolt and nuts securing the compressor to the bracket (see photo) and remove the compressor from the engine compartment.
5. Installation is performed in reverse order. Upon completion, fill the system at a car service center.
