Attention! First depressurize the air conditioning system at a car service center.
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Disconnect the lines from the battery.
3. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the battery (see photo).
4. Check the amount of compressor oil in the removed battery and add the same amount of fresh oil to the new battery plus the amount specified below:
- a) For 1987-1994 models: Add 57.5 g of 525 viscosity oil.
- b) On models from 1995: add 100 g of polyalkapine glycol oil (PAG).
5. Install the battery in the reverse order. Lubricate the O-rings of the fittings with clean oil with viscosity 525.
