- lift the hood, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery;
- unscrew screws 1 (figure 8-59) and remove the frame trim 3 of the windshield with the edging 2 frame trim;

- remove the two wiper arm caps, unscrew the two nuts and remove the wiper arms as an assembly;
- lower the front door windows;
- remove the right and left windshield trims;
- unscrew the five screws and remove the instrument panel insert;
- remove the roof trim insert, unscrew the two screws and remove the interior rearview mirror, remove the roof trim assembly with the lamp, disconnecting the lamp wires;
- unscrew the screws and remove the sun visors
- remove edging 2 (figure 8-60) windshield 3;

- pierce the glue seam with an awl 4, cut the seam with a wire saw or a vibrating pneumatic knife;
- remove the windshield with the help of an assistant;
- cut off the adhesive seam on the body and glass 4.
