Degrease the edges of the wind window opening, prime them if necessary. Apply enamel primer to the primed window opening edges. Drying of the primer occurs in natural conditions for at least three minutes.
Lay the removed or new glass on a work bench with the outer side down. Clean glass perimeter with cleaner or isopropyl alcohol, then apply glass primer (from the delivery set of the adhesive system) on ceramic paint with a width of 20-25 mm. Dry the coating for at least three minutes naturally.
Apply polyurethane adhesive from a special tube along the window opening with a uniform, continuous roller (see pos. 8) 12 mm high on the primer surface (see fig. 8-60).

Degrease the edge of the windshield glass edging adjacent to the adhesive seam and install the edging on the glass, ensuring a snug fit of the edging along the glass edge.
Warning. The maximum exposure time for glass with adhesive applied before it is mounted on the body is 20 minutes.
With holders (sucker) install the glass in the window opening, ensuring uniform gaps with mating body panels. Establish adjusting wedges 7 for prevention of glass lowering.
Note. Polymerization of the adhesive occurs after 3 hours of natural drying. Therefore, it is forbidden during this period to move the car, slam the doors. It is forbidden to close the windows of the doors so that the air pressure in the passenger compartment does not increase. Works related to the application of forces to the glass can be started 14 hours after the adhesive has polymerized. Optimum strength is achieved after 4-6 days, depending on the ambient temperature.
Check the tightness of the adhesive seam by pouring plenty of water on the installed glass. Seal the places of possible leaks with mastic 51-G-7 GOST 24025-80.
Install the upholstery, lining and other parts removed from the vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
