Upper decorative molding of the central pillar (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Remove the bolt and the upper front seat belt anchor.

2. Slide the top of the lower center pillar trim molding off.

3. Loosen the screw and use a lever to separate the upper decorative molding of the central pillar.

Installation procedure

1. Install the upper center pillar trim molding.

1. Install the upper center pillar trim molding.

Tighten

Tighten the screw of the upper decorative molding of the central pillar with a torque of 22 N·m (16 ft·lbs).

2. Reinstall the upper portion of the lower center pillar trim molding.

3. Install the upper front seat belt anchor using the bolt.

Tighten

Tighten the seat belt mounting bolt to 38 N·m (28 ft·lbs).
