If the vehicle is operated in dusty conditions or with low-quality fuel, the filter must be replaced more often.
The fuel filter is located under the body bottom on the right in front of the fuel tank.
The fuel in the engine fuel system is under pressure.
Therefore, before servicing the fuel system, it is necessary to release the fuel pressure. To do this, with the ignition off…

…we remove the fuel pump fuse (Ef18) from the mounting block in the engine compartment.
We start the engine and let it idle until it stops due to the fuel running out in the system. Then we turn on the starter for 2-3 seconds. As a result, the pressure in the fuel system will be released.

Disconnect the ground wire from the terminal on the fuel filter housing.

Using a 10 mm wrench or head, unscrew the clamping bolt of the fastening clamp.

We remove the wire.

We remove the protective cover.

Using the end of a screwdriver, we push the retainer out of the fuel pipe tip…

…and remove the white tube tip.

We squeeze the "antennae" of the plastic retainer of the fuel pipe tip..

…and remove the black tube tip from the filter fitting.

We remove the fuel filter from the bracket.
We install the filter in the reverse order.
We put the tips of the fuel pipes on the filter fittings until the clamps snap into place. Having installed the fuel pump fuse, we turn on the ignition and check the tightness of the connections.
