2. Decompress the fuel system.
3. On most models, the fuel filter is disposable and built into the fuel supply line (see photo). Unscrew the nuts of the fittings and disconnect the fuel pipes from the filter. On some later models, the fuel filter is replaceable and is located in the housing. Unscrew the housing, drain the remaining fuel and clean the inside of the housing.

4. Install the filter in the reverse order. Lightly lubricate the gasket of the replaceable filter element and install it in the housing. Screw the filter housing until it touches the gasket, then turn 2/3 of a turn.
5. Check for fuel leaks after replacing the filter.
Caution! If the fuel filter was dirty, the cause may be dirt getting into the tank, which should be removed and cleaned.
