Front A/C Blower Motor (Chevrolet Lumina 1)

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the air filter (see chapter 4, section 8).

3. The front supercharger electric motor is located at the rear of the engine compartment. Remove the left windshield wiper arm rod (see chapter 12, section 18). Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor (see illustration).

4. Loosen the supercharger mounting bolts and remove the motor and fan from the housing (see illustration 10.3).

5. Loosen the nut and slide the blower fan off the engine shaft (see illustration).
