Replacing the front door window lifter motor reducer (Chevrolet Cruze J300)

You will need a Phillips-head screwdriver.

Note: The replacement of the window lifter motor is shown using the driver's door as an example. The replacement of the passenger door motor is performed in a similar manner.


1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the front door trim (see "Removal and installation the front door trim").

3. Remove the front door window regulator (see "Replacing the front door window regulator").

4. Remove the three screws securing the gear motor.



4. Remove the three screws securing the gear motor.


5. Remove the electric window lifter motor.

6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
