1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Open the glove compartment.
3. Using two screwdrivers, disengage the glove compartment opening limiters from the stops on the instrument panel.
4. Squeeze the retainer and disconnect the lower end of the glove box damper.
5. Lower the glove box down...
6. ...and remove the axles of the two glove box hinges...
7. ...then remove the glove box.
8. Remove the four bolts securing the glove box housing to the bottom of the instrument panel.
9. Unscrew the bolt securing the glove compartment housing at the end of the instrument panel...
10. ...and move the housing away from the instrument panel.
11. Press the lock and disconnect the glove compartment lighting wiring harness connector...
12. ...and remove the glove box housing.
13. Remove the three screws securing the fan to the heater housing (the third screw is located behind the fan housing and is not visible in the photo).
14. Remove the fan from the heater housing and set it aside.
15. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the wiring harness connector from the fan motor and remove the fan.
16. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
