Replacing the exterior lighting switch (Chevrolet Cruze J300)

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Open the small item storage box, pull the box up...



3. ...and remove the lower part of the glove box from the stops in the panel.



4. Remove the glove box to gain access to the exterior light switch latches.

5. Remove the unit from the instrument panel socket by squeezing the latches and pressing on it from the inside with your fingers.

6. Disconnect the wiring harness connector.

7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
