Replacing the outside handle and front door lock switch (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: TORX T20 key, flat-blade screwdriver.



1. Pry up the plug at the end of the door and remove the plug.



2. Turn the screw of the locking bracket of the outer handle base counterclockwise until the bracket releases the lock switch...



3. ...then remove the lock switch from the door hole.



4. Turn the screw of the outer handle base locking bracket clockwise until it stops.





5. Slide the outer handle back and remove the rear handle bracket from the base.



6. Turn the outer handle, unscrew its front bracket from the base and remove the handle.



7. Remove the outer handle gasket from the door panel.



8. Press the latch...





9. ...and remove the trim from the lock switch.

10. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
