1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the front door trim (see "Removal and installation the front door trim").
3. Remove the speaker from the acoustic system (see "Removal and installation speakers").
4. Unscrew the two nuts securing the limiter to the door.
5. Unscrew the bolt securing the limiter to the body pillar...
6. ...and remove the limiter through the window under the speaker in the inner door panel. Replace the damaged door opening limiter with a new one.
WARNING: After removing the limiter, hold the door, not allowing it to open to a large angle. When fully opened, the door will rest against the wing, which will lead to deformation of both parts.
7. Install the door opening limiter in the reverse order of removal.
