Replacing the rear door glass (Chevrolet Aveo T300)

You will need: a 7 mm wrench, a 10 mm socket head, and a Phillips-head screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the rear door trim (see "Removal and installation the rear door trim").

4. ...and remove the inner door panel reinforcement.

5. Peel off the moisture-proof film from the inner door panel.

6. Temporarily connect the battery, connect the window lifter control switch and, pressing its button, set the rear door glass to a position in which the nuts of the clamps securing the glass to the slider are accessible through the technological window in the inner door panel.

7. Loosen the nuts securing the glass to the window regulator slider.

8. Bend back the edge of the seal at the top of the door frame and remove the screw of the upper mounting of the sliding glass guide.

10. ...and unscrew the bolt of the lower mounting of the sliding glass guide.

11. Slide the glass drop guide slightly, then carefully remove the glass from the door by pulling it upwards and turning it in the door opening as shown in the photo.



12. Install the rear door glass in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Pay attention to the marking of the glass. For replacement, purchase glass with the same marking.
