1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the electric fan assembly with the casing (see "Removal and installation of the electric fan of the radiator of the engine cooling system in assembly with the casing").

3. Remove the three screws securing the electric fan to the casing.

4. Remove the electric fan wiring harness from the casing slots.

5. Disconnect the additional resistance from the electric fan casing.

6. Disconnect the electric motor assembly from the fan by threading the wire harness with additional resistance through the hole in the casing.

Note: The electric motor is manufactured assembled with the impeller, therefore it cannot be disassembled or repaired.
7. Install the engine cooling fan motor in the reverse order of removal.
