2. The seats and interior trim panels of the car should be wiped with a damp cloth. If stains form on the upholstery, they can be removed using liquid detergent and a soft brush. Don't forget to clean your headrests regularly in the same way.
3. When using liquid detergents inside the vehicle, do not over-wet the surfaces being cleaned. Excess moisture may remain in the seams, causing a mildew smell to develop in the interior. If water accidentally gets inside the car, especially on the carpet, it is necessary to thoroughly dry the interior. Do not use oil or electric heaters to dry the interior of the vehicle.
4. After cleaning, apply a protective coating to the vinyl upholstery.
Note: Before applying a protective coating to seats, make sure the product you are using is recommended for this application, as some products not intended for use on seats may stain clothing upon contact.
Caution: Do not apply protective coating to the steering wheel.
5. Leather upholstery requires special care. Stains that form on the leather should be removed by cleaning with a warm, mild soap solution. Remove any remaining soap solution with a soft, clean cloth, then wipe the leather upholstery dry. When cleaning leather, do not use alcohol, gasoline or acetone.
6. Once cleaning is complete, apply a special wax protective coating to the leather upholstery. Do not use wax coating intended for use on exterior body parts.
7. If the car is expected to be stored for several days, cover leather seats that may be exposed to strong sunlight with covers.
