Warning: Do not place paper or other flammable items in ashtrays. Otherwise, an unextinguished cigarette placed in the ashtray may cause a fire.
2. The cigarette lighter is located on the control panel under the climate control system controls (see illustration). To use the cigarette lighter, press it all the way down and release. Once the cigarette lighter has heated up sufficiently, it will automatically return to its original position.
16.2 Cigarette lighter
Caution: Do not hold the cigarette lighter down with your hand while it is heating up. Otherwise, the heating element may burn out and the cigarette lighter ejection mechanism may break. This may also cause the fuse to blow.
3. If you use the cigarette lighter socket to connect any additional electrical equipment, it must consume a maximum current of no more than 20 amperes to avoid blowing the fuse.
