1. This system monitors the temperature and charge state of the battery, and automatically adjusts the voltage to improve the vehicle's dynamic performance and extend the battery life.
2. If your car is equipped with an analog or digital voltmeter, you may notice that its readings "float". This is normal.
3. If the system detects a malfunction, a warning message will appear on the Driver Information Center display. The battery charging system malfunction indicator may also light up on the instrument panel.
