General information (Chevrolet Trailblazer 1)
Due to the complexity of the design of the couplings and electronic and hydraulic systems, as well as the need to use special tools and specific control methods when repairing an automatic transmission, diagnostics and repairs should be carried out at a branded or appropriately equipped service and repair station. This chapter is limited to a general description of the status checking procedures. routine maintenance and adjustment (replacement of the gear shift lever, replacement and adjustment of the gear shift cable, etc.). More complex repair procedures should be carried out by qualified service station personnel. Regardless of the decision made regarding repair or replacement of the gearbox, you can save some money by performing the gearbox removal and installation procedures yourself, which are also described in this chapter.
