Headlights — removal and installation (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.



2. Remove the upper radiator grille cover.

3. Remove the bolts and headlight assembly.



4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the headlight assembly.



5. Remove the cup that hides the headlight bulb.



6. Disconnect the headlight bulb electrical connectors.

7. Remove the headlight bulbs.

Installation procedure

1. Install headlight bulbs.

2. Connect the headlight bulb electrical connectors.

3. Install the cup that hides the headlight bulbs.



4. Connect the electrical connectors to the headlight assembly.



5. Install the headlight assembly using bolts.



Tighten

Tighten the headlight mounting bolts to 7 Nm (62 lbs.in).

6. Install the upper radiator grille cover.

7. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
