Fog lights (Chevrolet Captiva 1)

Removal procedure

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the front bumper trim. See Section 9O, Bumpers and Fascias.



3. Remove the screws securing the fog light assembly.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fog lamp assembly.

5. Remove the fog light assembly.

6. Remove the bulb from the fog light assembly.

Installation procedure

1. Install the bulb into the fog light assembly.

Note: Direct contact of dissimilar metals may result in rapid corrosion. Use proper fasteners to avoid premature corrosion.

2. Install the fog light assembly using screws.

3. Connect the electrical connector.



4. Install the front bumper trim. See Section 9O, Bumpers and Fascias.



5. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
