Removal procedure
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the outside rearview mirror glass. See section 9L, Glass and mirrors.
3. Loosen the screws and remove the side turn signal assembly.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
Installation procedure
Note: There are no serviceable parts in the side direction indicator assembly. LEDs are used to emit light. If any LED fails, the side direction indicator assembly must be replaced.
1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the side turn signal assembly with screws.
3. Install the outside rearview mirror glass. See section 9L, Glass and mirrors.
4. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
