Removal and installation the rear door trim (Chevrolet Cruze J300)

You will need: TORX T20 key, flat-head and Phillips-head screwdrivers.

1. Pry it off with a screwdriver.

2. Remove the decorative cover of the inner handle of the lock.

Helpful Hint: To avoid scratching the parts, wrap the tip of the screwdriver with electrical tape.

3. Remove the screw securing the rear door trim.

5. Press the window lift handle socket towards the door trim and remove the spring clip of the handle through the resulting gap, prying it up with a screwdriver...

7. Overcoming the force of the plastic clips, separate the trim from the rear door panel.

9. ... remove the cable sheath end from the inner handle housing holder.

10. Disconnect the cable end from the inner handle lever...

11. ...and remove the rear door trim.

Door trim (view from the back side) attached to the door panel with eight plastic pins.


Replace damaged pins with new ones by removing them from the trim brackets.

12. Remove the two screws securing the armrest bracket to the door panel...

14. Peel off the moisture-proof film from the door panel.

15. Install the rear door trim and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
