1. Remove the front door trim and moisture-proof film (see "Removal and installation the front door trim"),
2. Remove the front door glass ("Front door glass replacement").
3. Remove the outside handle and disconnect the rod from the front door lock cylinder lever (see "Replacing the front door outer handle").
4. Remove the two screws securing the lock to the door panel.
5. Remove the lock by pushing it through the technological hole in the door panel...
6. ...slide the lock...
7. ...disconnect the wiring harness connector and remove the lock completely.
8. Disconnect the lock lever from the lock cylinder
9. Use a screwdriver to pry...
10. ...and lift the cover, revealing the end of the inner handle cable.
11. Remove the cable sheath end from the lock holder...
12. ...disconnect the cable end from the lock lever and remove the cable.
13. Disconnect the lock drive rod from the lock lever.
14. To remove the door lock latch, unscrew the two screws securing it to the body pillar and remove the latch.
Note: If necessary, adjust the locking clarity by moving the latch and loosening the screws that secure it.
15. Install the front door lock and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
