1. Remove the rear door trim and moisture-proof film (see "Removal and installation the rear door trim").
2. Fold back the outer handle rod retainer and disconnect the latch from the door lock lever (see "Replacing the outer rear door handle").

3. Remove the two screws securing the lock to the door panel.

4. Remove the lock by pushing it through the technological hole in the door panel.

5. Slide the lock.

6. ...and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the lock.

7. Remove the rear door lock.
8. Pry it up with a screwdriver.

9. ...and lift the cover, revealing the end of the inner handle cable.

10. Remove the cable sheath end from the lock holder...

11. ...disconnect the cable end from the lock lever and remove the cable.

12. Lift and disconnect the lock drive rod from the lock lever.

13. To remove the door lock latch, unscrew the two screws securing it to the body pillar and remove the latch.

If necessary, adjust the locking clarity by moving the latch and loosening the screws that secure it.
14. Install the rear door lock and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
